An eagle-eyed viewer took to Reddit after spotting two street-mapping cars on the same street, at the same time.
The fateful encounter occurred in Minnesota when a Google Maps and Bing Maps car passed each other and appeared on the opposing company’s map features.
The clash was first brought to light in an old Tumblr post, which showed the Google driver waving at his foe. It has since come to the attention of Redditors, who jumped at the chance to criticize the various qualities of the camera.
“The quality of the photo taken by Google is much better than that of Bing,” said one. Meanwhile, another compared Bing’s camera to a Google camera from 2007.
A third joked about a missed opportunity: “You’d think one of the companies would have photoshopped the other company’s car to look like a clown car.”

Bing Maps clashes with Google Bing Maps
This is far from the first time the street mapping features have picked up on particular things. From a “Big Foot” sighting in Russia, to political statements carved into the Great Wall of China – and even dashing couples – we’ve seen it all.
Yes, it’s true.
Google Maps caught an Australian couple having sex on a car bonnet – and, again, there was only one place to share such revelations: Reddit.
“At least they were safe and arrested!” one user joked, while another added that the pair were “not ashamed”.
Unusual Google Maps sightings have become such a fascinating oddity that there’s now a subreddit dedicated to the shenanigans r/googlemaps.
That’s enough sightings for one day…
